Projects- the core concept

A project is one business inside NexoFlow. It is the container for everything about that business: its brand knowledge, its connected channels, its content, and its analytics.

What it is

A project is one business inside NexoFlow. It is the container for everything about that business: its brand knowledge, its connected channels, its content, and its analytics.

If you run one business, you have one project. If you are an agency, you create one project per client.

Content never leaks between projects. Each project is generated only from its own brand knowledge and publishes only to its own connected channels.

Where to find it

Sidebar > Projects > All Projects

The project switcher at the top of the sidebar changes which project you are currently working in. Almost every other page in the app shows data for the currently selected project.

Project types

When creating a project you choose how its content will be delivered:

1. WordPress

The business has a WordPress site. NexoFlow publishes blog posts directly into WordPress. This is the simplest option if the site is WordPress.

2. Website (custom / non-wordpress)

The business has a website that is not WordPress. Content is delivered either by a small embed snippet you paste into the site, or by a developer pulling posts from the Content API. website integration.

3. Social only

The business has no website, or you only want social output. The project publishes to social channels and Google Business Profile, and website features stay out of the way.

You are not locked in. A Social-only project can be switched to a WordPress or website project later, and connected social channels and Google Business Profile locations stay attached when you do.

Creating a project

1. Go to Projects > All Projects and choose to add a project. 2. Give it the business name. 3. Pick the project type above. 4. Add the website address if there is one. This matters even for social-only businesses, because NexoFlow can read the site to learn real facts about the business. 5. Save.

Next steps after creating a project:

How many projects you can have

The number of projects is set by your plan:

Solo ......... 1 project Starter ...... 3 projects Pro .......... 5 projects Agency ....... 50 projects Enterprise ... effectively unlimited

Extra projects can be bought as an add-on on top of your plan, one at a time, without changing tier.

If you are on a free or cancelled account, you cannot create projects until a plan is active.

NOTE: the plan name shown in the app for the 50-project tier is "Agency".

Switching between projects

Use the project switcher in the sidebar. NexoFlow remembers your last active project, so you return to the same one next time you sign in.

Deleting a project

Deleting a project removes it from your dashboard and stops all of its automation- Autopilot for that project is paused, and nothing further will be published for it.

Deleted projects are held before being permanently purged, so contact support promptly if a project was deleted by mistake. Once purged, its content, brand knowledge and analytics history cannot be recovered.

Deleting a project frees up a project slot against your plan limit.

Common questions

What is a project?

One business. It holds that business's brand information, connected channels, content and analytics.

I manage several clients. How should I set that up?

One project per client. Choose a plan whose project limit covers the number of clients you manage, or add extra projects as an add-on.

Can content from one client accidentally end up on another client's channels?

No. Each project generates only from its own brand knowledge and publishes only to its own connected channels.

I hit my project limit. What are my options?

Upgrade to a higher plan, buy extra project add-ons, or delete a project you no longer need to free up a slot.

Can I change a project's type after creating it?

Yes. A Social-only project can be converted into a WordPress or website project, and your connected channels stay attached.

Do I need a website to use NexoFlow?

No. Choose Social only. You can add a website later.

I deleted a project by mistake.

Contact support as soon as possible. Deleted projects are held for a period before being permanently removed.

Why does the app keep asking me to pick a project?

Most pages show data for one project at a time. If no project is selected, choose one in the sidebar switcher.
