What it is
The Media Library holds all the images available to a project- photos you have uploaded and images NexoFlow has generated.
When a post needs a featured image, this is where it comes from.
Where to find it

Getting images in
Manual upload
Upload photos from your computer. This is how you get real photos of the business's actual work into the system, which almost always beats AI imagery for a local service business.
Google drive
Connect a Drive folder and import from it. Re-importing the same folder does not create duplicates.
Canva
Import designs you have made in Canva directly into the library.
AI generation
Generate images from a description. ai images.
How your photos get used
NexoFlow looks at each uploaded photo and works out what is in it. When a post needs a featured image, it picks the photo that actually matches the subject of the post rather than taking them in upload order.
The featured image strategy on the Content Planner controls whether your photos or AI images are used:
- MY PHOTOS FIRST- Your photos first, AI images once they run out (default)
- ONLY MY PHOTOS- Never generate AI images; posts wait for a photo
- ONLY AI IMAGES- Always generate; never use your uploads
To get authentic imagery, upload a healthy pool of real job photos and set "My photos first". If you upload three photos and schedule thirty posts, you will run out- so either upload more or allow AI images as a fallback.
Image sizes per platform
NexoFlow produces the right dimensions for each destination automatically:
X post Pinterest pin Google Business Profile post YouTube thumbnail YouTube short
- Instagram square- 1080 x 1080
- Instagram portrait- 1080 x 1350
- Instagram landscape- 1080 x 566
- Instagram story- 1080 x 1920
- Instagram reel- 1080 x 1920
- Facebook feed- 1200 x 630
- Facebook open graph- 1200 x 630
- LinkedIn feed- 1200 x 627
You do not need to resize or crop anything yourself.
Finding and managing images
You can search the library and filter by where an image came from. Each image shows how often it has been used, so you can avoid over-using the same shot.
Common questions
How do I use my own photos instead of AI images?
Upload them to the Media Library, then set the featured image strategy to "My photos first" or "Only my photos" on the Content Planner.
Does it pick a sensible photo, or just any photo?
It understands what is in each photo and matches it to the subject of the post. A post about a driveway gets a driveway photo if you have one.
My library is empty.
Nothing has been uploaded or generated for this project yet. Upload photos, import from Google Drive or Canva, or generate images with AI.
Can I import from Canva?
Yes, designs can be imported directly from your Canva account.
My posts keep using the same photo.
Upload more photos. With a small pool the same images come round again quickly. The library shows a usage count per image.
Can I delete an image?
Yes. Note that deleting an image already used on a published post can leave that post without its picture.
