Creating an account, signing in, and email verification
Signing up with email or Google, verifying your address, staying signed in, and what to do when you cannot get in.
Creating an account
There are two ways to sign up:
1. Email and password
Enter your name, email address and a password. Passwords must be at least 8 characters.
2. Continue with Google
Sign up with a Google account in one click. No password to remember. If you later want an email/password login as well, you can set a password from Account Settings.
If you arrived through someone's referral link, the referral code is picked up automatically from the link- you do not need to enter it manually.
Verifying your email
After signing up with email and password, NexoFlow sends a verification email.
You must verify your email address before you can use the dashboard. Until you do, opening the dashboard sends you back to the verification screen.
If the email has not arrived:
- Check the spam/junk folder, and the Promotions tab in Gmail.
- Use the "Resend verification email" option on the verification screen.
- Confirm the address you typed is correct- a typo is the most common cause.
- If your company filters external mail, ask IT to allow mail from NexoFlow.
Signing up with Google does not require a separate verification step, because Google has already verified the address.
Signing in
Use the same method you signed up with. If you signed up with Google, use "Continue with Google"- there may be no password on the account yet.
If you do not know your password, or you signed up with Google and now want a password, use the password reset / set password option from the login screen. NexoFlow emails you a secure link to set a new password.
Staying signed in
A session stays active for 12 hours of inactivity. Continuing to use the app keeps extending it, so normal daily use will not sign you out. Leaving the app untouched overnight will.
Signing in on a new device or browser can sign out an older session. If you are returned to the login screen with a message saying you were signed out because of a newer login, that is expected- simply sign in again.
Common questions
I signed up but never got the verification email. What do I do?
Check spam and the Gmail Promotions tab first. Then use "Resend verification email" on the verification screen. If it still does not arrive, double-check the address for typos, and contact support with the exact email address you used.
Why can't I get into the dashboard?
The most common reason is an unverified email address. NexoFlow blocks the dashboard until the email is verified. Complete verification and you will be let straight in.
I signed up with Google. What is my password?
There isn't one yet. Keep using "Continue with Google", or use the set/reset password link from the login screen to create one.
I forgot my password.
Use the password reset link on the login screen. You will receive an email with a secure link to choose a new password.
Why was I signed out?
Either the session went idle for 12 hours, or a newer login on another device replaced it. Both are normal. Sign back in.
Can I change the email address on my account?
Contact support- the account email is tied to your login and billing, so we change it for you rather than exposing it as a self-serve setting.
Do you support single sign-on for my company?
Google sign-in is supported for everyone. For anything beyond that, contact support to discuss options.
How do I delete my account?
privacy and data, which covers account and data deletion.
Troubleshooting
SYMPTOM: "Please verify your email" keeps appearing
You are signed in but unverified. Open the verification email and click the link. Resend it if needed.
SYMPTOM: Login page says you were signed out elsewhere
Another login replaced this session. This is a security feature. Sign in again.
SYMPTOM: Google sign-in opens and returns to login with no error
Usually a browser blocking third-party cookies or an ad blocker interfering. Try a normal (non-private) window, or a different browser.
SYMPTOM: Reset password link says it is invalid or expired
Reset links are single-use and time-limited. Request a fresh one.
