Content planner- the main way to create content

The Content Planner is where most content gets made. You describe what you want in plain English, and NexoFlow plans out a batch of posts, writes them, makes images for them, schedules them, and publishes them to the channels you chose.

What it is

The Content Planner is where most content gets made. You describe what you want in plain English, and NexoFlow plans out a batch of posts, writes them, makes images for them, schedules them, and publishes them to the channels you chose.

It is the manual counterpart to Autopilot: same output, but you decide what and when rather than leaving it on a recurring schedule.

Where to find it

Sidebar > Content > Content Planner

The basic flow

1. Describe what you want

Type into the box: "Describe a content plan, or paste titles with dates..."

Examples that work well: "Write 4 posts about winter roof maintenance for homeowners in Dallas" "One post about our new emergency call-out service" "3 posts a week for the next month covering our main services" "5 posts about gate automation, one per week starting next Monday"

NexoFlow reads how many posts you want and how often out of your own words. Saying "a post about X" gives you one post, not a batch. Saying "3 posts a week for a month" gives you the right number spread across the right dates.

2. Choose channels

Pick which channels this batch targets: the website, Google Business Profile, and any connected social networks. Only connected channels are offered.

3. Generate

NexoFlow creates a plan card per post, then writes each one and prepares its featured image.

4. Review

Each card shows the title, summary and image. You can edit, regenerate, change the date, change the image, or delete any card.

5. Publish

Publish now, or leave the scheduled date and let it publish itself.

Helpers when you don't know what to write

Enhance

After typing a rough description, an Enhance button appears. It expands your short prompt into a fuller brief using what NexoFlow knows about the business. Useful when you know roughly what you want but do not want to write the brief.

Ideas

NexoFlow can suggest topics based on the business's services, audience and existing content. Pick the ones you like and each becomes a post.

Paste titles or upload a list

If you already have a content calendar, paste your titles- optionally with dates- or upload a spreadsheet of them. Each row becomes a planned post. This is the fastest way to load a quarter of planned content in one go.

Post status: what each label means

Published with issue Published, but at least one channel failed. Open the post to see which channel and why.

  • Draft- Planned but not generated yet.
  • Generating- Currently being written.
  • Preparing image- Text is done, the featured image is still being made. There is no Publish button yet- this is expected, not a bug. It becomes Ready when the image is finished.
  • Ready- Written, illustrated, and ready to publish or schedule.
  • Needs editing- Generated, but flagged as needing a human look before it goes out.
  • Topic overlap- Too similar to something you already have. Kept out of the way so you do not publish near-duplicate content.
  • Published- Published successfully to every targeted channel.
  • Failed- Generation or publishing failed. The card explains why.
  • Cancelled- Stopped before completing.

Scheduling

Each card carries a publish date, which you can change directly on the card. Posts publish automatically on their date- you do not need to be logged in.

If you asked for a cadence ("one a week for six weeks"), the dates are already spread out for you.

Publish times follow the business timezone set in the Brand Profile. If that is not set, times are treated as UTC, which is the usual reason posts appear at an odd local hour. brand profile.

Common questions

How do I create posts?

Go to Content Planner, describe what you want in plain English, pick your channels, and generate. Everything else- writing, images, scheduling and publishing- is handled for you.

I asked for one post and got several.

Phrase it as a single post- "write a post about X" or "one post about X". NexoFlow reads the number from your wording, and vague requests are treated as a small batch.

How many posts can I generate at once?

There is no fixed cap in the planner itself; the practical limits are your plan's AI credit balance and how long a large batch takes to generate.

What does "Preparing image" mean? Why is there no Publish button?

The text is finished but the featured image is still being generated. The Publish button appears once the image is ready. This normally takes under a couple of minutes.

What does "Topic overlap" mean?

NexoFlow spotted that the post is very close to content you already have, and held it back so you do not publish near-duplicates. You can still edit or publish it if you disagree.

What does "Published with issue" mean?

The post went out, but one of the targeted channels failed- for example the blog succeeded but Instagram did not. Open the post to see which channel and the reason.

Can I edit a post before it publishes?

Yes. Any card can be edited, regenerated, re-imaged, re-dated or deleted before its publish date.

Can I use my own photos instead of AI images?

Yes. Upload them to the Media Library and set the image strategy to "My photos first" or "Only my photos".

Can I import my existing content calendar?

Yes. Paste your titles with dates, or upload a spreadsheet of them.

Do I have to be logged in for scheduled posts to publish?

No. Publishing runs on schedule regardless of whether you are online.

What's the difference between Content Planner and Autopilot?

Content Planner is you asking for content when you want it. Autopilot is NexoFlow producing content on a recurring schedule without being asked. Most people use both.

Troubleshooting

SYMPTOM: Generation fails or a card shows Failed

Most often an AI credit shortfall, or a channel that is not properly connected. Check Billing & Credits, and check Social & Channels for reconnect prompts. troubleshooting generation.

SYMPTOM: Posts stuck on "Preparing image" for a long time

Image generation occasionally takes longer than usual or fails. If a post sits there far longer than a few minutes, regenerate the image on the card, or switch the image strategy so it uses an uploaded photo.

SYMPTOM: Posts wait and never get an image

The image strategy is set to "Only my photos" and the uploaded photo pool has run out. Either upload more photos or allow AI images.

SYMPTOM: Nothing generates and no channels are offered

The project has no connected publishing channel yet. Connect a website, a social account, or Google Business Profile first.
