Billing, plans and AI credits

Your plan sets capacity- projects, team seats and Google Business locations. AI credits are a separate prepaid balance that pays for generation. Telling the two apart answers most billing questions.

Where to find it

Sidebar > Organization > Billing & Credits

Two separate things: your plan and your AI credits

This is the single most important distinction on this page, and the source of most billing confusion.

Your plan

A recurring subscription. It sets your CAPACITY- how many projects, how many team seats, how many Google Business Profile locations, and which features you can use.

Your AI credits

A prepaid balance in USD that pays for the actual AI work- writing posts, generating images, making videos. Every generation draws down this balance.

Having an active plan does NOT mean unlimited generation. You need both: a plan for access, and credits for the AI work.

Plans are billed monthly or annually. Annual billing is cheaper per month.

Current prices are shown live on the Billing & Credits page. Prices are not quoted in this article deliberately, so support never states an out-of-date figure- always point the customer at the in-app pricing.

Agency-only features

Client review (sending approval links to end clients) requires the Agency plan. client review.

Note on naming

The Agency plan is stored internally as "business". Customers see "Agency".

Add-ons

You can extend a plan without changing tier:

  • Extra project- +1 project each
  • Extra GBP location- +1 Google Business Profile location each
  • Extra team seat- +1 org seat each

Add-ons stack on top of the plan's own allowance and can be bought in quantities.

AI credits in detail

Starting credit

Subscribing to a plan grants a one-time starting credit:

  • Solo- $2
  • Starter- $5
  • Pro- $10
  • Agency- $10

IMPORTANT: this is granted ONCE, when you first subscribe. It is NOT a monthly allowance and is NOT re-granted on renewal. Customers frequently expect it to refill each month- it does not.

Credits do not expire

They last until spent.

Topping up

You buy more credits whenever you need them, as a one-off payment.

  • Minimum top-up:- $5
  • Maximum top-up:- $1,000
  • Quick presets:- $5, $10, $50, $100

Watching your balance

The credit balance is shown in the sidebar on every page, and updates as you use it. The Activity Log breaks down exactly what each generation cost- activity log.

Keep an eye on the sidebar balance. Generation stops as soon as credits run out, so top up before a large batch or a busy Autopilot cadence.

What uses credits

Writing posts, generating images, generating video, and AI work done through the chat assistant. Video is by far the most expensive. Higher quality settings cost more- see the quality setting in ai images.

Managing your subscription

From Billing & Credits you can:

  • Change plan (upgrade or downgrade)
  • Buy add-ons
  • Top up credits
  • Open the billing portal to update your card and get invoices
  • Cancel

Cancelling

Cancelling schedules the subscription to end at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until then. Your content is not deleted when you cancel, but you lose the ability to create projects and generate new content once the period ends.

Unused AI credits remain on the account.

Subscription states

  • Active- Everything works.
  • Trialing- In a trial, full access.
  • Past due- A payment failed. Access continues briefly while retries happen. Update the card to avoid losing access.
  • Paused- Temporarily suspended.
  • Canceled- Ended. No project creation or new generation.
  • Free- No active plan. Cannot create projects.

Common questions

I'm on a paid plan. Why does it say I'm out of credits?

Your plan and your AI credits are separate. The plan gives you capacity (projects, seats, features); credits pay for the actual AI generation. Top up your credits from Billing & Credits.

Do my credits refill each month?

No. The credit that comes with a plan is a one-time grant when you first subscribe. After that you top up as needed. Credits never expire, so whatever you buy stays until you use it.

How much does it cost?

Current prices are shown on the Billing & Credits page in the app. Plans are billed monthly or annually, with annual cheaper per month.

What is the minimum top-up?

$5. The maximum in one go is $1,000.

How do I know what is using my credits?

The Activity Log lists every generation with its estimated cost.

How do I get an invoice or receipt?

Open the billing portal from Billing & Credits. Invoices and receipts are there, along with your payment method.

My payment failed / my card was declined.

Update your card in the billing portal. While a payment is failing the subscription shows as past due and access continues for a short period while retries happen. Fix the card before that window closes.

How do I cancel?

From Billing & Credits. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.

If I cancel, do I lose my content?

Your content is not deleted, but you lose the ability to create projects and generate new content once the period ends.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled case by case. Contact support with your account email and what you would like refunded.

I need more projects but don't want a bigger plan.

Buy extra project add-ons. The same applies to extra Google Business Profile locations and extra team seats.

Can I switch from monthly to annual?

Yes, change the plan from Billing & Credits.

Who gets billed on a team?

The account holder who owns the subscription. Team members inherit access from that subscription and are not billed individually. team and organization.

Troubleshooting

SYMPTOM: Paid but the app still shows as free / limited

The subscription may not have finished syncing. Refresh the Billing & Credits page. If it persists after a few minutes, contact support with the email used at checkout.

SYMPTOM: Generation stops working suddenly

Check the credit balance first- an exhausted balance stops generation immediately. This is the most common cause.

SYMPTOM: Cannot create a project

Either the project limit for the plan is reached, or the subscription is not active. Both are shown on Billing & Credits.
