If you have not set up any authors, posts fall back to a default "Admin" author. Replacing this with a real person is one of the quickest credibility wins available- it takes a minute and applies to everything you publish afterwards.

Common questions

Why do my posts say "Admin"?

No authors have been set up for the project yet, so it is falling back to the default. Add a real author under Authors and select it on your posts.

Can different posts have different authors?

Yes. Choose the author per post in the editor.

Are authors shared across projects?

No. Authors are set per project, so each client business has its own.

Does changing the author update posts already published?

Changing an author's details updates how they appear. Changing which author a specific post uses has to be done on that post.

Do I have to use a real person's name?

No, but a real named person with a genuine bio is more credible to readers and better for search visibility than a generic label.
