NexoFlow reads new Google reviews for your connected Google Business Profile locations and helps you reply to them- either automatically, or as a draft you approve.
What it is
NexoFlow reads new Google reviews for your connected Google Business Profile locations and helps you reply to them- either automatically, or as a draft you approve.
Replying to reviews improves local ranking and customer trust, and it is another thing busy businesses reliably let slip.
Where to find it
Sidebar > Content > Google Reviews
Requires at least one connected Google Business Profile location. google business profile.
How it decides what to automate
This is the part customers ask about most, and the design is deliberately cautious.
AUTOMATIC REPLIES ARE OFF BY DEFAULT. You turn them on per location.
When you turn them on, you set a MINIMUM STAR RATING for automatic replies. The default is 4 stars. That means:
- Reviews AT OR ABOVE the threshold--> replied to automatically
- Reviews BELOW the threshold--> a draft reply is written and held for you to read, edit and approve
So with the default setting, 4 and 5 star reviews get handled for you, while 3 star and below always wait for a human. A negative review is never answered automatically without your say-so.
You can raise the threshold to 5 if you want even more control, or lower it if you want more automation.
Tone hint
You can give each location a free-form instruction that shapes every reply, for example: "Warm and grateful, mention our 15-year warranty when relevant."
Review states
Each review on the page shows where it stands:
- New- Seen, no reply yet (often a rating with no written review)
- Auto- Replied to automatically
- Replied- Replied to, posted successfully
- Draft- A reply has been written and is waiting for your approval
- Failed- A reply was attempted but Google rejected or failed the send
The page highlights how many reviews need your attention, which is the drafts plus the failures. You can filter by state to work through them.
Working with drafts
For any draft you can:
- Read the suggested reply
- Edit it before sending
- Regenerate it if the angle is wrong
- Approve and post it
- Write your own reply from scratch
Low-rated reviews are worth reading properly before sending anything. The draft is a starting point that saves you the blank page, not a decision made for you.
Common questions
Will NexoFlow automatically reply to bad reviews?
Not unless you explicitly configure it to. By default only reviews of 4 stars and above are answered automatically. Anything below that is written as a draft and held for your approval.
How do I turn on automatic review replies?
On the Google Reviews page, enable it for the location and set the minimum star rating. It is off by default.
Can I control the tone of the replies?
Yes. Each location has a tone hint you can set in plain language.
Can I edit a reply before it goes out?
Yes, for any draft. Automatic replies for high-rated reviews go out without a stop, which is the point of automating them- raise the threshold to 5, or turn automation off, if you want to see everything first.
I don't see any reviews.
You need a connected Google Business Profile location, and the location needs to actually have reviews. New reviews are picked up on a regular check, not instantly.
A reply failed to send. Why?
Usually Google access has expired, or the review was deleted by Google or the reviewer before the reply landed. Reconnect the location and try again.
Does this work for reviews on Facebook or other platforms?
Google Business Profile reviews only.
