Glossary- terms used in NexoFlow

Brand profile
The information about the business- services, audience, tone, contact details, service area- that all content is generated from.
Brand knowledge
Everything NexoFlow has learned about a business: the Brand Profile plus what it read from the website plus any documents, links or Drive files you added.
Knowledge source
A document, link, YouTube video or Drive file added as source material.
Brand voice example
A sample of writing you saved so NexoFlow matches your style. Saved separately for blog, social and Google Business Profile.
Channel
A destination content can publish to: the website, a social network, or Google Business Profile.
Creating content
Content planner
The main screen for creating content. You describe what you want and it plans, writes, illustrates and schedules a batch.
Autopilot
Recurring hands-off content generation on a schedule you set.
Plan / plan card
One planned post in the Content Planner, shown as a card.
Review mode
Autopilot setting where content waits for your approval rather than publishing automatically.
Client review
A private link sent to an end client so they can approve content without a login. Agency plan only.
Featured image
The main image on a post.
Featured image strategy
Whether posts use your uploaded photos, AI-generated images, or your photos first with AI as a fallback.
Status labels
- DRAFT- Planned but not generated.
- GENERATING- Being written now.
- PREPARING IMAGE- Text done, image still being made. No Publish button yet.
- READY- Written and illustrated, ready to publish.
- NEEDS EDITING- Generated but flagged for a human look.
- TOPIC OVERLAP- Too similar to existing content, held back.
- SCHEDULED- Has a publish date and will go out on it.
- PUBLISHING- Going out right now.
- PUBLISHED- Published successfully everywhere.
- PUBLISHED WITH ISSUE- Published, but at least one channel failed.
- FAILED- Generation or publishing failed.
- REJECTED BY GOOGLE- Google Business Profile refused the post.
- CANCELLED- Stopped before completing.
- OVERDUE- The publish date passed without it going out.
Billing
Plan
Your recurring subscription. Sets capacity: projects, seats, GBP locations, and which features you can use.
AI credits
A prepaid USD balance that pays for the actual AI work. Separate from the plan. Does not expire. The credit granted with a plan is a ONE-TIME grant, not a monthly refill.
Top-up
Buying more AI credits. Minimum $5, maximum $1,000 per purchase.
Add-on
Extra projects, extra Google Business Profile locations, or extra team seats bought on top of a plan without changing tier.
Agency plan
The 50-project tier. Stored internally as "business"; customers see "Agency".
Seat
One team member's place in your organisation.
Connecting a website
Application password
A separate credential you create inside WordPress for connecting apps. NOT your WordPress login password. Revocable without changing your own password.
Embed widget
A snippet of code you paste into a non-WordPress site so published posts appear there automatically. No developer needed.
Content API
A read-only developer API for pulling published content into a custom-built site.
Delivery mode
Which of the above a project uses to get posts onto its website.
Platforms and acronyms
- GBP- Google Business Profile- the business listing that appears on Google Search and Maps. Formerly called Google My Business (GMB).
- GA4- Google Analytics- website traffic measurement.
- GSC- Google Search Console- how the site performs in Google Search.
- SEO- Search Engine Optimisation.
- MCP- Model Context Protocol- lets an external AI assistant connect to your NexoFlow account.
- SDK- The official TypeScript package for the Content API (nexoflow-sdk).
- CTA- Call to action- the button or line prompting the reader to act.
Other
Things to do page
A local area guide published for local SEO, e.g. "Things to do in Austin, TX".
Sync website
Reading the business's existing website so NexoFlow learns real facts about it. Read-only; nothing on the site is changed.
Traffic dominator
A separate third-party service that drives visits to published content. Optional, with its own account and its own credits.
Workspace
The in-app AI assistant chat, where you ask NexoFlow to do things in plain language.
Trash
Where deleted content goes before permanent removal. 30 days for website posts, 10 days for social posts.
