Client review- sending content to a client for approval
Client review lets you send a private link to a client so they can review and approve upcoming content- without giving them a NexoFlow login.
What it is
Client review lets you send a private link to a client so they can review and approve upcoming content- without giving them a NexoFlow login.
This is built for agencies. The client opens the link, sees the posts, and approves or asks for changes. Nothing publishes until they respond.
Different from Autopilot Review (autopilot review), which is your own internal approval queue.
Where to find it
Sidebar > Content > Client review
Plan requirement
Client review is part of the AGENCY plan. It requires an active Agency subscription.
If you are on a lower plan the page shows an upgrade prompt instead.
How it works
1. Select the content
Choose the posts you want the client to look at.
2. Create the review link
NexoFlow generates a private link. You can enter the client's email so they are notified directly.
3. The client reviews
They open the link in a browser. No account, no password, no signup. They see each post- title, content and image- and respond to each one.
4. You see the responses
Their decisions and feedback come back into your dashboard.
What the client can do
- APPROVE- The post is cleared to publish.
- REQUEST CHANGES- They explain what is wrong and the post goes back for revision.
- REJECT- The post will not be published at all.
They can also give more precise feedback:
- Tag the reason for a change: tone, accuracy, brand, SEO, length, visual, or other.
- Write free-text feedback.
- Suggest a different title.
- Suggest edits to the summary or the social caption.
- Upload their own image to replace the featured image.
Posts that have already been published are shown to the client as read-only, so they can see the full picture without being able to change what is already live.
Link security and expiry
- Review links expire. The default is 14 days, and the maximum is 90.
- You can revoke a link at any time, which immediately stops access.
- The link grants access only to the specific batch of posts it was created for, and nothing else in your account.
- Anyone with the link can review, so treat it as you would any private link: send it to the client directly rather than posting it publicly.
Every action taken through a review link is recorded, so there is a clear trail of who approved what and when.
Common questions
How do I get my client to approve content?
Create a client review link from the Client review page and send it to them. They review in the browser without needing an account.
Does my client need a NexoFlow login?
No. That is the entire point of the feature.
Which plan do I need?
The Agency plan.
How long is the link valid?
14 days by default, up to a maximum of 90. You can also revoke it early.
Can the client edit the post themselves?
They cannot rewrite the article, but they can suggest a different title, suggest edits to the summary and social caption, upload a replacement image, and leave detailed feedback. Final control stays with you.
What happens when the client approves?
The post is cleared to publish on its scheduled date.
What happens if the client never responds?
Nothing publishes. The posts stay waiting. Once the link expires you can create a new one.
My client says the link doesn't work.
Check whether it has expired or been revoked, then issue a fresh link. Also confirm they are opening the full link- email clients sometimes truncate long URLs.
Can I see what the client did?
Yes. Their responses and feedback come back into your dashboard, and actions taken through the link are recorded.
